A Once-in-a-Lifetime Journey Aboard La Dolce Vita Orient Express

To celebrate a milestone birthday unlike any other, we designed an immersive experience that started with a private journey aboard the legendary La Dolce Vita Orient Express. Guests traveled from Rome through Venice and into the Tuscan countryside. Drawing on Old World glamour, Italian luxury, and the romance of vintage travel, every detail was taken into consideration. From the moment guests started packing to the final night beneath starry skies in Tuscany, guests would leave with more than a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Our Italian Journey Began Before Boarding

Planning for milestone events starts before guests ever set foot on the platform. The day before departure, monogrammed My Style travel duffel and hanging garment bags were delivered to each guest to prepare for the upcoming adventure.

On departure day, the experience unfolded as the guests arrived at the station. An exclusive private train lounge welcomed guests into a world of luxury where guests were treated to exceptional hospitality. They indulged in exquisite Italian cuisine and expertly crafted cocktails. Guests were able to sip, eat, and enjoy live entertainment before heading to the platform.

Upon boarding, the dedicated conductors personally escorted guests to their private cabins, where Orient Express Panama hats, custom travel folios, Italy guidebooks, personalized Schostal pajamas, and additional amenities awaited.

An Art Deco Heart Aboard the Train

The train’s elegant Art Deco lounge served as the heart of the train, providing a glamorous setting for guests to gather, relax, and enjoy nightly live entertainment from ALR Music. Guests were treated to an elegant onboard dining experience where Michelin-starred dinners were paired flawlessly with Italian wines and cocktails to round out each night.

A Day in Venice, By Water

We carefully curated an experience that began the moment guests arrived in Venice by water taxi, greeted by a live performance from ALR Music’s Juke Joints. From there, we arranged a series of exclusive experiences to immerse the group in the city’s rich heritage, starting with a private tour of Orsoni Venezia 1888 and culminating in an elegant luncheon at the spectacular Orient Express Venezia.

We secured access for our group to be among the very first to experience this extraordinary property, which had opened its doors just two months prior. Housed in the legendary Palazzo Donà Giovannelli, the hotel is a 15th-century architectural jewel originally built in 1436. Once the private residence of the Duke of Urbino and a succession of prominent Italian nobility, the breathtaking palace was recently and meticulously restored. Dining amidst its original frescoes, Gothic windows, and nearly six centuries of history provided our guests with an unforgettable, highly exclusive taste of Venetian splendor.

From Venice, the guests continued on by train into Tuscany, where the celebration would continue in the countryside via vintage Italian cars that transported them to their next destination after disembarking the train.
