To celebrate this birthday, we curated an intimate al fresco dinner with bespoke event styling, nestled within the enchanting Orti, Borgo Santo Pietro’s lush working garden. Every element of the evening was thoughtfully sourced from the estate itself, from exquisite farm-to-table cuisine prepared over an open flame to a tablescape adorned with the freshest treasures the garden offered that day.

Dinner in the Garden: Organic Event Styling 

The Orti garden provided a beautiful and luxurious backdrop for the evening, with the estate’s signature farm-to-table philosophy woven into every detail. Borgo’s amazingly talented floral team designed the tablescapes with vibrant greenery and sun-kissed lemons, handpicked from the property’s own trees. The custom striped table linens and matching embroidered menus were created by Carissimo Letterpress, which introduced a sophisticated contrast to the verdant setting. Perfectly complementing the event styling were hand-painted olive branch china from Maison Margaux and custom-made terracotta place cards, each delicately holding a single olive branch. As the guests enjoyed the stunning visual feast, the ALR Jazz Group set the mood with live music throughout dinner.

Cooking Over Open Flame

Borgo’s acclaimed culinary team prepared the meal over an open fire, honoring the estate’s authentic Tuscan heritage and serving a traditional Bistecca alla Fiorentina. To complement the wood-fired steak, the menu that evening honored the day’s fresh garden harvest, featuring zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, and more. The dinner was the perfect pairing of a hearty Tuscan classic with vibrant, farm-to-table vegetables, all of which helped to create a dining experience that was effortlessly elegant and rooted in Tuscan traditions.

A Coffee Bar with a Little Extra Charm

A special detail that captivated guests was the private and charming coffee bar that was artfully presented from the trunk of a vintage Land Rover Defender. It was an unexpected touch that added a layer of personality and even more bespoke charm to the evening.
