Modern Luxury with a Bold Editorial Edge
Hosted in collaboration with Kravet, Elle Decor, Benjamin Moore, and The Shade Store, every design detail of the evening reflected the campaign’s creative DNA. The evening’s design drew inspiration from Kravet’s signature aesthetic of refined, textural, and elevated elements and infused it with fashion-forward energy. The campaign’s four colors: Amethyst, Palm, Golden Hour, and Peacock, were woven into lighting, tablescapes, and tactile design that invited guests to experience the palette firsthand.
Immersive Dining Experiences and Sustainable Design
Upon arrival, guests stepped into a space completely transformed by Benjamin Moore’s signature hues from the Never Basic campaign. In lieu of traditional floral arrangements, the room featured striking installations composed entirely of sustainable, hand-folded origami flowers crafted from Kravet wallpaper—a creative nod to both artistry and design innovation. Each guest was invited to take one home as a keepsake from the evening.
Guests discovered their calligraphed name cards displayed on Benjamin Moore paint chips, each featuring a distinct color that corresponded to their table assignment, a thoughtful touch that tied the collaboration together through color. Once seated, guests were welcomed with personalized menus at each place setting.
A Multisensory Dining Experience
During cocktail hour, guests mingled among large-scale mood boards that brought the “Never Basic” campaign to life, each one showcasing fabric swatches, fashion inspiration, and designer portraits that revealed the creative process behind the collaboration.
What followed was more than a dinner—it was a multisensory dining experience curated by Pinch Food Design, where culinary art met performance. Each course arrived as a visually striking presentation, blurring the line between food and design.
The evening concluded with an interactive smash dessert experience, inviting guests to take wooden mallets in hand and “break through” their plated creations, a playful nod to the demolition-and-reconstruction process that inspired the campaign collection.
