Countdown to Forever: An Enchanting NYE Wedding Celebration

The last night of the year is perfect for a dazzling black-tie wedding wow moment. This black and white wedding, planned by none other than the bride herself, is a testament to her love for detail and her desire to create a dream celebration. Inspired by the couple’s first New Year’s Eve together in Paris, she truly pulled out all the stops to make this a memorable event.

The intimate inter-faith wedding ceremony was graced by a Gospel Choir, serenading the bride’s walk down the aisle with a rendition of “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve.” The reception, a grand affair, was enlivened by the Jordan Kahn Orchestra. A highlight of the evening was the groom’s whiskey bar cart, a unique twist on the traditional groom’s cake. The reception also featured a four-course French menu by Savor By Samir, and over 600 pieces of antique champagne coupes, cut crystal vases, candles, and luxury stemware bathed the tables in a warm glow.

Setting the Scene

Dozens of romantic white candles and petite arrangements dressed the reception tables, matching the grandeur of the luxurious chandeliers to create the perfect elevated atmosphere. As if out of a film noir, all the plates were served to guests at the same time during the service. This choreography required extra planning as the kitchen was on a different floor from the reception, with a team of waitstaff strategically positioned to ensure each guest received their meal simultaneously.

Planning an event on a holiday is no small feat. It requires additional planning and logistics, adding a layer of complexity to the already intricate process. Yet, these challenges made this dream wedding all the more rewarding.

Vintage Details

This lavish French-inspired celebration was influenced by the bride’s love for antiques and her passion for entertaining. The antique glassware added a touch of vintage charm, inspiring all those who appreciate the beauty of the past.

Dressing to Impress

This fashion-forward black and white wedding celebration was not just about elegance but also about unexpected moments of joy. Multiple surprise moments throughout the evening, including late-night smash burgers and pommes frites, surprise espresso martinis, and a gown change inspired by the Eiffel Tower itself, added a thrill to the evening and kept guests on their toes.

Every detail of this wedding was meticulously curated, from cold sparks to the thrilling confetti drop at midnight, which celebrated the newlyweds and ushered in the New Year with a burst of cheer. These thoughtful touches, along with the bride’s exquisite vision, ensured that every moment was unforgettable.
